The new column added for the difference between the Projected Final and Previously Projected Costs is great, but since the Previously Projected Cost does not include change orders, that are included and calculated statuses, entered since the last submitted projection and the Projected Final Cost does, the change order amount is displayed in this variance column. Therefore the Projected Final Cost Variance total does not give you an accurate number of how the current projection is impacting margin. If a project manager has entered several change orders since the last projection it can get confusing as to which variances are due to change orders and which are actual adjustments to the projected final cost that will impact the margin. Additionally, it would be nice if there was an option in Company Parameters where you could choose to have change orders included in the Projected Final Costs on reports.
