Changing a Vendor number in PM Subcontracts by Change Order

When a vendor changes names or is bought out, we are unable to modify an existing Subcontract in PM Subcontracts with the new Vendor number.  Currently, the existing Subcontract needs to be closed and a new one created.  It would be desirable to be able to change a Vendor number through a Change Order.
