It would be helpful if the Date Disposed in EM Asset Setup was recognised by Viewpoint. As a work around I have to change our Company Country Set-up to US rather than AU, to see Month Disposed on the EM Setup grid tab so it can be entered in order for Viewpoint to recognise that the asset is disposed. Then for Australian Tax Legislation I need to change back the Country to AU, record the Date Disposed and manually calculate and edit the depreciated amount. So far, after more than 2 years using EM Assets, I can still not get rid of my excel document as Viewpoint does not understand Australian Tax requirements.
