The user would benefit by knowing they have been locked out from multiple failed login attempts. The Admin can see the locked but the user only gets the warning that they could get locked out from multiple failed log in attempts.

Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
We set up a notification that emails the employee when the portal is locked. So that they do get a notice when the Portal is locked.
