With the recent changes in Version 6.13 to AP Unapproved Invoice Entry, reviewer line, the following are some major issues we are having. We really need this corrected ASAP. I have put in a ticket and they told me to submit this here.This hinders our workflow for numerous reasons:1. Inability to upload without a reviewer. Default reviewer must be added to override system. By doing so, we have added at least an extra hour of work each day for each division.a. Default reviewer must be deleted from footer section before posting can be done. Automatic posting is nonexistent now due to this system override.i. The theory of posting is once all approvers have approved, the line will then automatically be flagged ready for posting. This functionality of Viewpoint is now disabled due to us having to manually deleting the reviewers. 2. Uploaded data for our p cards is 90% of our workload. This data is manipulated to created reports, inform of missing receipts, and to provide data for the Controller’s report. a. Due to the default reviewer to override system, we now have to add extra time deleting and determine which entries are missing receipts.3. Currently, we touch each line twice – upload and attach receipt. a. After change, we MUST touch each line at least 5 times. Upload, add reviewer, attach receipt, delete default reviewer so reviewer 2 can see line, and delete default reviewer again after reviewer 2 approves.b. Due to us having to “babysit” each line after someone approves significantly slows down the approval process. If we don’t see someone has approved, the next approver won’t see their lines until AP corrects the default reviewer. This was an automatic process, but now has become the responsibility of the AP department.
