The Vista Server Name box should be removed from the login screen. Users don't know what this is and it unnecessarily clutters up the Login Screen. The Show Database Option should also be removed for the same reasons.

The show database option will be present in 6.14, which hides the database configuration details. In effect, it becomes an "advanced settings" flyout.
I also think it should be left there. It makes fixing problems one step easier.
Perhaps the 'Show Database' option could be moved to an ADVANCED flyout or something so it's not quite as confusing?
I disagree, some places have multiple servers and especially in a dev/live environment its a lot easier for people to swap
