Currently Vista does not offer meter reading parameters to prevent overly high readings to be entered. It would be very beneficial to have settable parameters that would allow one to enter the maximum hours per day that a piece of equipment could accrue so if a number is entered that is outside of the parameters, it would be disallowed. This would assist in the prevention of bad meter readings being posted.

To take this one step further you would also need to allow the parameter to be null for companies who do not update meter readings every single day. Some of our equipment only get updated when a reading is available therefore creating a large reading to catch the meter readings back up.
