In a prior version of Vista, the inventory description field was expanded, however, programmers neglected to carry over the 60 characters to the PM Material Detail Import thereby truncating all the inventory descriptions to 30 characters and thereby removing the functionality to convert the import to flow through to a purchase order since the supplier does not receive the full product description.
