My suggestion is industry standard and I have never seen "0" used for LS unit and $0.00 used for the unit price for lump sum items. This causes us problems with Vista forms, reports, COPS, pay apps, etc. that we would send out to an owner, engineer, subcontractor, etc. I would like to know why Vista was designed to used 0 for the unit and $0.00 for unit price for lump sum items. Please let me know for our set up depends are Viewpoints response.

While I appreciate the concept the a "lump sum" is 1 unit and you've hard coded it into your calculations, it should at least be coded to 1 LS as not only is it the standard in the industry but also it is logically absurd to buy or be paid for 0 of any unit. Even your built in reports print in that fashion. So every one must have a work around to print right and customize the printing of every line in a "Crystal" or "Create and Send" report to calculate if UM=LS that QTY=1. Really people??? My clients and my vendors each have questioned this numerous times.
