There are many offerings by vendors that provide for different pricing other than the standard UM. Equipment rentals are a good example if a client is not using the EM module but does want to have material numbers for rental purchase orders.

Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
Likewise, my purchasing team wants Freight to be LS but that default is not allowed. We can override the UM manually each time. But it would be great if the Default allowed another UM other than EA.
