My use case at the moment is I don't have a default file associated with a certain file so an error pops up. I would like to drag it to my desktop and try to open it so it prompts me.
Though other use cases would be to make a file with attachments all throughout vista or to send multiple files etc.

Be better Vista!
Our team often sends Vista attachments via email and since we can't drag & drop into our emails, we're "Save-As" then attaching. If we could drag & drop that would be awesome!
You should always be able to drag/drop out of vista - this would save SO much time!
