Allows to see when a note was created and by whom, gives clarity to the note. Notes can be created almost anywhere by several different users . Time/date stamp creates a separation between several notes

Version 2022 R2 added the ability to make virtually any Note field a timestamp note - the system will automatically timestamp and add the user name to the note. Accessible from the System Overrides tab of Field Properties (F3) - you must be a Form Admin to access this tab since this is a setting that applies to all users
Is this an option that is active and can be turned on? I am looking to have this ability for WO Notes and Trip notes?
Sincerely, Jason Roop

Hello,
How do I get these suggestions out there for more users to review and vote?

This would be very useful for our company not only in HR, Payroll, but just in general. When a note is generated it would be great if it was dated.
Our company has said the same thing! It would be very useful to know when the note was written. It would also be useful for the notes to stay with the invoice after posting in the drill down. Some of our approvers delay approving invoices because once they do they lose their notes. They can put an invoice on hold with notes but once they approve it they can't see them anymore.
As this was listed under Payroll/HR I think that those two modules are most important to know who changed or rejected a record.
Having the option to turn the date stamp on or off would be great. Eventually they will want that option by form.
Also making the notes Auditable where we can run the audit report and see who changed what is great. You may even say vital for tracking why we changed or rejected something. Payroll and HR are sensitive enough. Knowing who changed what and why could make the difference in a legal dispute and save a lot of money down the line.

There is a mix of requests here - one for editable, timestamped user comments and another for enhanced auditing that records who, what, and when data is changed.
Some note fields are implemented as 'timestamp' notes - editable comments appended to the note along with a timestamp. Would you like to see this type of note field offered in more places? Would you like the ability to switch a note from standard format w/o timestamp to one supporting a timestamp?
Auditing into a master audit table for data changes (HQMA) and specific events (DDAL) can be expanded but requires some Dev work - would be helpful for planning if specific events were identified
I'd love this. Or some sort of tracking mechanism that if a change is made, there is a user log where I can see who made the change and when it was made.
We use the note function across modules and as a way to communicate and track information. This would be a great improvement.
Both we and our auditors want to know who loaded a timecard in the PRTH table and which billing clerk added a transaction. Its the same idea as the note, except expanded for all transactions. We have multiple people loading timecards, Multiple people loading invoices and multiple billing clerks.
We had this functionality in Maxwell. It would be nice to have it in Vista as we "upgraded" our software.
I would like it to be more indepth.
For example, similar to what you want, but each comment is in a different record similar to attachments that time/date stamps with logon name etc. Whilst giving certain users permissions to be able to CRUD the information
