Ability to Close a Job, but not a Contract
We have multiple jobs tied to a single contract. Would like to be able to soft-close a job, but not the contract. This would allow us to make sure costs do not continue to hit a job. Now we have to wait until all jobs are complete and soft-close the contract.

Agree this process s/be clearer. Go to JC Jobs > Soft Close Job. Soft-closing a job tied to a multi-job contract prevents further costs from accruing to that job, even if the contract remains open. This allows you to stop posting costs to the job while the contract is still active.
Not sure why this suggestion is still open and listed as 'In Development'. You can soft close the job (only) through JC Jobs. It's very hidden though - open the JC Jobs form and look for 'Soft Close Job' under Tasks in the top menu bar.
This should be a standard feature, surprised it is not.
The only thing I saw in the help on this was that you could go to JC Job Phases for a Project and uncheck the Active Box on the grid for all the phases associated with the Project you want to close. It doesn't really close the Project but it will stop costs from accruing on it until you close the Contract. Try searching on "close sub job" in the knowledge base to find the article.
