The current portal updater updates the portal to the most current release. Many of us have development and test environments that we use to validate releases before updating production. We had a recent incident where we updated our test portal, validated the release in one day, and scheduled the production update the following day. When we did the production update, the version was different than what we had validated. This release happened to include a bug, 2 hours later we re-ran the upgrade thinking it could have been a permissions issue and a newer release was installed.
Customers should have the ability to control what version of the software is being installed on their system.
Additionally, the "Choose a module" field below should be updated to match the current module list from your support portal.
