With the deprecation of VCM, we are left with Document Manager to handle our document management.
However, DM is still missing features that we use on a daily basis, namely the Rubbert Stamp Function.
With the Rubber Stamp function in VCM, we were able to Stamp a predefined text along with today's date onto documents in VCM with the touch of a button. DM has annotations, but there is no way to easily stamp 100s of documents a day. Instead it's a very manual process akin to ms-paint. We'd have to type out our Name, Date, and Action (Received, approved, etc...) on every document we review with Document Manager. In VCM, we'd do this with a click of a button.
Without this feature, DM is an inferior product which is going to make the migration from VCM more difficult. Please include this in DM to make the transition easier for everyone.
