I've added numerous UD User Defined Lookups in the past. In order to test the lookup, I have to attach the lookup to a form and then open the form to then see if the lookup is operating as expected. I would like to stay in the UD User Defined Lookup window and do the testing there, then it becomes easier to troubleshoot the SQL Statement.
