Bill rate template -- presently in SM, once the work is completed, the 'division' field in the sequence is locked. Requesting a product enhancement to permit security permissions to be extended to allow for the division to be changed prior to billing. Often times, we send out a service tech for a roof leak as non billable assuming it's warranty based on the customer calling it in as such. However, when the service tech arrives, he/she sees the owner of the building had a new HVAC unit cut in the roof and it was not flashed out and/or another situation which is not related to our work. Based on such, the item is not warranty but rather a billable charge. With the current 6.13.02 version, we are unable to change the division after work is commenced. We are using the 'division' field to overwrite GL codes to charge different cost centers based on if the service call is preventative maintenance, warranty, etc.
