When creating invoices in SM Work Orders, all of our customers require a Customer PO. Each time an invoice is created, we must manually type in the Customer's PO number in the blank text box. Some of our customers have dozens of different PO numbers that have been assigned to us. Most of the POs that our customers use are reoccurring.
It would be helpful if the SM module would enable us to save/pre-program in all of the PO numbers we have been issued since the PO numbers are reusable. We would like to be able to save customer PO numbers so that we can hit F4/lookup in the program to find them and eliminate the need to manually type this information on each invoice.
If Customer POs can be saved, it would also be a nice feature if a short description and expiration date could be included when looking them up. It would helpful to know if a customer purchase order number has expired before sending an invoice.
We would use this suggested feature every single day on almost every SM invoice we create. It would improve our billing accuracy and save us time.
