Currently, if you set up a SM Technician, the PR employee is locked in and cannot change once saved. Technician ID was based on name, name of employee changed. Viewpoint does not allow to set up a new SM technician and link to a PR employee that is linked to another Technician ID. Ability once the technician is marked inactive, the PR employee may be used on another Technician ID set-up.

You can put in a (billable) tech services request through Clearview to get the employee link fixed, and this is a perfect example of why KeyIDs like the Tech ID (which can never be changed) to be numbers instead of letters or words that mean something. If that meaning changes, you're stuck with it forever.
