At the bottom of this thread, are Dan Reyero’s complete comments concerning adding UD fields in SM. It appears they have stumbled across one specific area where UD fields are not allowed but is a necessity for them: The request is in the SM Rate Template with Overrides for Equipment, Labor, Material and Standard Items , we need to add user defined fields in the rate templates for Equipment and Labor in order to place the correct information on the invoice to a customer. This is a must have capability per the customer for their invoices. We are able to see the templates for Equipment, Material and Standard items, but not Labor. Inside of the Labor Overrides form it shows the Form = SMROLaborDetail. Seems to us that this should be able to dropped in as were the others. Why can’t a UD field be added in this specific form and do you have an alternative suggestion for this customer scenario?
