Add flag/column to ID AR customers on credit hold in Agreement and SM Work Order Billing sessions

 

Issue: You can't post an invoice batch with multiple invoices if even one item is on-hold in AR. When you pull a large batch of items (agreement or WO invoices) into a session, it is a pain to pick through the credit holds. The process is inefficient, frustrating and provides poor visibility to credit issues when they happen after services have started but billing is not yet done.

We need a better way to see these transactions relating to customers on credit hold when using bulk-billing sessions like Agreement billing or Work Order billing so we can choose them or not choose them.

Idea: Why not add a column or flag on the SM Agreement billing or SM Work Order billing sessions to ID accounts on credit hold in AR. That way we can filter them out so they don't create issues when posting invoice batches.

Use case 1: the invoice batch only provides you with one account # on hold at a time. If multiple holds are present it's really irritating to go through this process repeatedly to figure out which customers are on hold.

Use case 2: the agreement billing session doesn't permit you to remove one problematic transaction at a time from your session. The only option is to cancel the whole lot and start again and hope you don't select any others accounts on credit hold.
