Our customers pay FORWARD on agreements, which allows us to apply the money they've already paid, to any work done for them at that site in the future.
In May, they pay $100 to be a member for that year.
During the year, they have some work done. Because they are a member, we give them 15% off their bill, and also use 100% of the money they already paid, for the bill. If the work done costs more than $100, they still get 15% off, but have to pay out of pocket.
In Viewpoint there does not seem to be a way to create agreement invoices and get them paid, without "losing" that money. IE, it's not kept "as credit" for the customer.
Seems like it could also be called "Keep funds as Credit for Customer" or something like that too.
