We utilize SM Work Orders occasionally to track expenses for items like building maintenance or vehicle maintenance (tracked monthly) or to be able to capitalize costs for an asset upon completion of a project (done sporadically but done several times a year). Currently, I have to manually move costs to a general ledger account via miscellaneous work completed lines that use a standard item to control what account the costs are moved to, and I do a misc line per cost type to do so. It would be a great time saver if there was a button on the SM Work Order Scope that said "Transfer costs to..." or "Expense Costs" that would allow someone with the proper security rights to transfer costs in a single click.
It would be great if this transfer button allowed costs to be moved to a general ledger account, another SM Work Order, or even a Job/Project as we occasionally have the need to transfer costs to all of these different areas.
