If an employee is terminated, but still needs to be an active employee in Payroll to receive a paycheck, it would be helpful to be able to enter a "Terminate employee on XX/XX/XXX" date. As a result, Vista will automatically un-check the Active PR Employee on the HR Resource Master on that indicated date.

This already exists in Vista. Right-click the Active field and go to Scheduled Changes. You can select the date that you want the field to change to the value N. Scheduled Changes typically run at 2 AM unless changed in Configure Remote Service on the server.
