A customer will want a statement delivered via either email or mail. Currently, in order to achieve this you must go into the AR Customer Recipients sub-table and enter the data there. We entered email addresses hoping that customers without emails would print. They did not, and there isn't an import available to load all of their addresses into the sub-table. We have thousands of customers and it's not practical for us to go in and do this manually.
The email/mailing address info is all available on the info tab.
Would it be possible, instead of using a recipient sub-table, to have an option to chose either email or print statements, and then it looks to the info tab for this data? If override info is needed, there could be a special override field or the sub-table could be used to send it to multiple recipients, etc. But having it look primarily towards the info tab would save a majority of data entry and eliminate data-entry errors.- OR - If continuing to use the recipients table, if there isn't an email entered in the sub-table, it defaults to print and kicks out a batch of statements that weren't emailed and need to go out in the mail.
