Applies to 1) Leave code using accrual type of Rate Based 2) Weekly limits applied 3) Time card corrections related to pay periods already closed and reset.
System calc for positive or negative time card entries: if hours * rate > limit then apply limit else hours * rate
Should be... if (hours *rate > abs(limit) then apply limit else hours * rate
Example: limit is 1.54, Hours is 8.00, rate is 1.54 (i.e. if you work one or more hours then you get the accrual)
System calc 8 hours * 1.54 = 12.32.>>> Apply limit of 1.54. end result is employee gets 1.54 accrual which is correct
Example 2 with correction of same time card entry in the next pay period: limit is 1.54, Hours is -8.00, rate is 1.54
System calc -8 hours * 1.54 = -12.32.>>> does not apply limit of 1.54 because -12.32 is less than 1.54. End result is the system taking away more accrual than was ever given in the first place.
