In AP invoices, the description only allows for 30 characters. It would be really great if this field was at least twice this size.

Having a full description of the invoice would expedite the processing of invoices.  In addition, during a vendor history review this would allow the reviewer to determine whether he or she needed to open the invoice instead of having to open the invoice every time.  The full invoice description would benefit operations company wide and eliminate unnecessary steps throughout an organization.
