Currently if an item has not been received you are unable to initialize from the PO in AP Unapproved Invoice Entry. The purpose of the unapproved entry seems to be to get an approval on the invoice prior to paying and if something was not received it would be on the approver to make sure the items were received before approving the invoice. Not allowing the user to initialize from PO creates a situation where the module becomes not useful as you then have to manually send the invoice to the approver before entering which seems like the module is built to eliminate.

I agree with Chad. I didn't believe a PO couldn't be initialized without receiving all the material until I spoke with VP support. Initially I thought something was wrong with our system. I hope VP implements this capability in the near future.
