"Enhancement of PR EFT remittance by Employee report 1036 to order by sort order within a job if using sort option- J (Job, check print order and Employee #)"

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEMPR EFT remittance by Employee report 1036 which is the report used for direct deposit print has sort options. if sort option J is used, it will sort employees by job first ( in employee number sequence), then if no job but a sort order for the employee - by sort order, then if no job or sort order by employee. Customer requests that the report sort by sort order within the Job sort order. check Sort order codes are numeric phases needing to sub - order by check sort order within the job.

SYSTEM VERSION & TEST DATA6.13 support environment.

STEPS TO REPRODUCESet up employees 1,2,3,4 with sort order 4,3,2,1 respectively. create time cards for all 4 employees posted to job 100.

CURRENT RESULTSIf sort option J used sorts by job 100 but by employee 1,2,3,4 ignoring sort order

EXPECTED RESULTSIf sort option J used sorts by job 100 and employees would appear within the job as 4,3,2,1 simplistic example but company in question has over 1000 employees and numerous jobs and phases - sort order are the phases.
