Every window in VP opens differently. Some open small to the left and some open basically all the way but do not fill the screen and then the next one opens and spreads across both of the monitors which is the hugest pain!! Every single time, you have to reduce the size of that window because it blocks the second monitor. All software I've worked in has the ability of a user to set the choice if you want all your windows to automatically open to maximize.

bug setup
Window maximized, any screen, use (X) to close.
Result
Window will open in "almost maximized" mode, always on MAIN screen.
Workaround
Run everything "non-maximized".
VP, any ETA on a fix?
I agree. When i open different screens/report etc, sometimes they are full size other they are very tiny. I do not see any consistent reason why.
Hmm..thanks. That does work. It's better than taking up a monitor and a half every time it opens.
- Close it while maximized on main screen = re-opens in an 'almost maximized' view.
- Close it while maximized on secondary screen = re-opens in an 'almost maximized' view on MAIN screen. Yea, it jumps back to the main screen.
However, if you make it slightly less than maximized on the second monitor and close it, it re-opens right were you left it.
Temporary solution: Do not maximize it. Resize it manually, and it will re-open where you left it, even if it is spanning multiple monitors (just tested).
