Have a selection on customer master to email invoices, then when you process and post batch it would automatically email invoices to those customers that are marked as such.

Gary, when will JB invoices be live?
For emailing Job Billing directly to customers, it would be crucial to have in the email subject line, Project# and name, Progress Draw #, and possibly rename the attachment.
I have been working on emailing invoices and statements through Viewpoint since last July. We are using Vista Version 6.19.18, Tax Update 2020-7. We are also using custom invoices and statements. Viewpoint does not make it easy to email invoices or statements. We had to hire a software company to make changes in order to email invoices directly from MS Invoice Edit or MS Invoices. We also had to make changes in order to email statements. We have tested the process after the software company made the changes and we are ready to email invoices through Viewpoint this week. I see we can email invoices if we use a standard form but is not available for custom forms. I need email capability for a custom invoice in MS. Is that in the works anytime soon? It would be most helpful.

Will there be an update coming in the future to send SM invoices via email that has the ability to attach documents such as the corresponding WO/service report or certified payroll?

Yes, you can send statements to multiple customers at one time "automatically". Search AR Statement Delivery in the Viewpoint Customer Portal for the instructions.

Do you have an approximate roll-out date for the ability to e-mail invoices directly to customers? Would we be able to e-mail statements as well? We need this sooner than later.

I would like to request a customization to add the functionality to email invoices and statements automatically The majority of our customers are now requesting this for invoices and statements.
Any update on this? This would be a HUGE time saver. SM works so well, hoping MS will be just as easy and is nearly done.

We invoice most of our volume thru the Service Management module and can email our invoices. However, we cannot email AR Statements. The same email functionality should be added to the AR module. I agree with others that this is a NEED, not a WANT.
We will offer an email option for MS invoices and AR statements. Invoices directly entered in AR will not be included in this round. On track for 6.17 delivery
We are also having many customers prefer to get invoices and statements emailed to them instead of snail mail. This would save time and money for all.
