DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEMCanadian Payroll does not provide any reports to ensure correctness between PRDT and PRCAPayrollDetail, and PREA and PRCAEmployeeAccums
Should there be an imbalance between the corresponding tables, the only way to find discrepancies is by running SQL When balancing Payroll during the year, or balancing T4s, PR Employee Accumulations report pulls only from PREA. In comparing with the PR Canada Federal Remittance report, which uses PRDT, if there are discrepancies, they cannot be found. Due to the nature of the update of the tables, should PRCAPayrollDetail not match PRDT (which is used for processing and payment to the employee) the Employee's accumulations are updated from PRCAPayrollDetail and will not match what the employee was paid. Additional reports should be created to assist in regular balancing of Employee Accumulations to Payroll processed. |
