If I need to view invoices most other accounting software offer Inquiry windows by Vendor and Invoice so we can simply view all the invoices entered by vendor and drilldown if needed. This can also be done by payments and then see invoices applied. VP only offers reports or having to manually add previously posted transaction into batches (so if have some that span multiple months it's not a simple process). This is needed in the GL, AP, AR, JB and CM.

This suggestion is now 6 years old. If it's planned, what happened to it?
Gary, we have an accounting work center set up as an extra tab on our home screen, but it only shows the status as "Open, Ready, or Closed." The attachment lister on the side will show an attachment but no payment information such as a check number or date paid. I have to go out of this tab and into the main screen to Vendor Drilldown or Payment Drilldown to find this information. Is there going to be a solution to this?
Great idea - we are planning an Accounting Work Center with a standard set of queries that highlight financial information from the core Vista modules. An AP Vendor summary query with drill-down to both unapproved and posted invoices as well as payments is on the list
