It's frustrating when you're doing a search for multiple invoices (as an example) and if the vendor doesn't have the open invoices in numerical order, you have to get out of the search, go back to page 1 and hit search again. It would be easier if the binoculars would search the entire report and not just from where you are and forward. I know that I can pull it in to Excel but if I need to look at the invoices or how it was coded, I still need to go back in to AP Vendor Drilldown and search for the invoice.

This is an excellent idea with a good amount of potential benefit for our customers. However, due to the limitations inherent in the included Crystal Reports Viewer, it will be impossible for us to implement this functionality for non-SSRS reports. That said, we are working on other ways to improve the user friendliness and capabilities of our report generation and searching processes.

Unfortunately, due to the limitation of our included Crystal Reports Viewer, this is not possible with our reports as they exist today.
This is a limitation of Crystal Reports. Viewpoint should transition to 100% SSRS reports (IMHO). This limitation doesn't exist in SSRS.
I agree, it is a more efficient way to search. I welcome upgrades.

I agree - not having to close out of the search function to move around within the report would be a valuable as well
This is a great idea, it would also be very helpful if you didn't have to close the search function in order to move around within the report and have to click on the binoculars again if you want to search again.
