The "Copy Associated Attachments" sort options feature does not seem to be functioning correctly. Many times we choose to sort the attachments by contract item. After the copy is completed, we go through the invoice attachments that were extracted and find they are not sorted by contract item. Invoices that are associated with the last contract item will often be the 5th or 6th attachment out of 45 or 50 attachments. Also invoices that are associated with the first contract item will often be one of the last attachments in the file.
This feature is helpful for a time and material invoice so we can provide the invoice backup in the order that it hits the invoice to the owner. It is easier for the owner to understand what each invoice was used for when they can see what contract item it was used on.
With this sort feature not functioning correctly, we have to go through each attachment and manually sort it based on which contract item it is associated with. On a large invoice this can be a lengthy process.
