When entering time in PR Timecard Entry, the job # pulls from the last job # the employee worked that is saved on the employee record. For example, I had a guy work on job 764 the previous week as well as Monday of this week, he then moved to job #765 for the remainder of the week. When entering time for Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat, Viewpoint automatically entered job # 764 instead of #765. (I believe this feature used to work).

I agree that you could do it with a F3 override, but I guess I'm curious as to why it works the way it does currently. Is there logic behind why it was configured to read the last job on the employee record?
HI all, on behalf of Gary ... what do you all think about Darrell's suggestion? That was where we went as we discussed addressing this idea.
You could do this now by setting an F3 Override on the job number field, and selecting Previous Value.
A configurable setting would be an ideal way to support this.
