Payroll Batch Posting must be mutually exclusive with Other module Batch posting

When Payroll batch posting happens along with other batch posting. We get a lot of blocking alerts.

The alerts are coming from proc call  [dbo].[bspHQTCNextTrans] and please check the statements below

SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL SERIALIZABLE;

UPDATE dbo.HQTC

SET LastTrans = LastTrans + 1

OUTPUT inserted.LastTrans
