We have too many vendors to use the vendor number. We have not found a way to change the grid to reflect the vendor name instead of the number. The grid is often used to refer to an invoice and it is so time consuming to go through each invoice to find the vendor name. It would be really helpful if it was set up like the AP Transaction Entry form, where is lists the vendor number AND the vendor name in a separate field.

To display the vendor name in the grid, use Field Properties (F3) to set 'Description in Grid' for your Vendor field to '0-Show in grid only'.
