I think the EM Module should have a program that can create an entry for disposals like the EM Depreciation Processing program. Currently you have to manually enter an entry in the GL transaction program and its very easy to not book it correctly. We already enter the disposal date. Each asset has the asset account number and accumulated account number. We would just need the gain/loss account for each asset added to the EM Asset Setup screen so it know where to book the gain or loss if the asset is not fully depreciated. This would make mass disposals/asset transfers easier and quicker. We have had situation where we have moved all assets from one SBU to another and had to do all aspects of the manually. You don't even have the EM Module as a choice in the drop down below. I think EM is a neglected module. There is also only one session for the module at the annual conference.
