Public works jobs performed in California require certified payroll reporting through the states compliance tracking system under the Department of Industrial Relations, Similar to LCPTracker and EMars. This system requires and XML file upload that can be found at http://www.dir.ca.gov/Public-Works/Certified-Payroll-Reporting.html By having this file report, it will save masses amount of time as well as eliminate errors. Currently we are running Foundation software and are switching to Vista by Viewpoint however Foundation offers this feature. Would Viewpoint be able to match their effort?

Vista relies on its CPR partners (eMars, LCPtracker) for regionally specific or XML based formats. We recommend contacting either partner to confirm and then using the corresponding standard payroll export found in your Vista Payroll Report folder.
