Update Resource Benefits in HR Benefit Codes is very useful to update rates by Benefit Options, in a global (not each individual employee) manner. However, it will only update rates for Benefits that have Effective Dates (in the Info tab on HR Resource Benefits) that are the same day or later than the Effective Date for the HR Benefit Code. This means that employees that keep the same medical or dental plan for more than one year, still need to have a new Effective Date entered individually in HR Resource Benefits. With 500 employees and multiple Benefits, this is a daunting task to complete each year.

Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
I agree!!! This is such a pain. When you enter the new rates and effective date, for that benefit, and then tell the system to "update the resources", it would be awesome to update the effective date for those that are active as well, or at least give the option to update rates AND effective date, or just rates. There is too much manual labor for this process.
