For Companies that are not utilzing the HR Module but rather are using an HRIS to capture employee pay rates, we need to have the ability to capture when the date of the rate increase is effective. Then, if the date is prior to the effective date it picks up the old rate and if it is on or before it will pick up the new rate.

Whether the effective date is in HR or not, An effective date in PR would be helpful when the pay increase happens mid pay period.. so time card dates prior to the increase are paid at old rate and dates after the increase are paid with new rates. Currently, this requires manual intervention on the time cards since we only import time cards weekly.
