When processing 1099's for the year, the vendor is marked as a 1099 vendor and the amount indicator box is picked as well. However, there are some vendors that have some things they do within the year that are 1099 related and other items that are not. yet when running the 1099's in spectrum there is not a place to match the amount indicator for 1099's to GL codes that should be 1099 related. Anything sitting under the vendor for that years is put in the 1099 amount. If you have more then say 30+ vendors that is a pain to have to go through each year to make sure the amounts under each vendor for the year is the correct amount that should be included on the 1099 form.
