Cash receipts - include ability to receive payment by units (quantities) not just dollars

We primarily invoice and receive payment for contract items by quantities, not dollars. This causes great challenges for us because Vista does not really support it, especially when it comes to retention. If we could receive payments by quantities, it would greatly help our AR processes.
