This is a pretty technical issue that I worked through with VISTA Help. They said that they cannot submit this as an ISSUE but I need to submit it here.
The problem: If we are in SM Work Order and click the 'Create PO' button. There is no field on the PO entry screen to enter a JC Co #. So the PO is made with the SM Co # instead. The stock PO Drilldown report will not work if the PO has a SM Co # and no JC Co #. So the report comes up blank for those PO's! It stops our purchasing and AP department and everyone panics that the report is broken. I have to manually go in and add the JC Co #.
-We made a custom version of the PO Drilldown report for our company that works with this. But I feel that the stock report should have the same fix! Work with either the JC Co # or the SM Co #. But currently is does not.
It seems like a simple fix and it would prevent others from paying to have the report modified to work with SM PO's. And I have some users who still love to use the stock version and they get stuck.
