We ran into an issue where our HR department opens the HR Resource Manager and leaves the form up. So does our Payroll department for PR Employees. There have been instances where HR opens an resource record and has it opened when Payroll has the associated PR record open. PR edits some fields, HR closes their record without saving, and ultimately PR edits are undone.
Opened a ticket for this issue and was told this worked as designed.
I don't think having a record opened and closing the record without making any changes should affect PR records.
