I processed checks for week ending 12/29/19. Some checks were layoffs and were physically cut before 12/31/19 and others were not, and so cut in the new year on 01/02/20. Both look to different state subject to amounts depending on the year. None of these checks were posted. However, once a paycheck has been physically released and the CM Memo field is populated, how can you be allowed to re process that check? This is a terrible audit situation. The minute a check is cut, it should only be allowed to be altered internally if it has been voided, and therefore, an active timecard once again. This is a disaster and has been one for a year since using this program. Posting as a solution should not be the hard stop here, because there are many times where errors exist that need to be fixed prior to a posting.
