I am unable to locate a particular check number unless I know the pay period ending date and department number or employee number, which we have over 300 employees, and six departments that are paid weekly, so it is impossible to know this. I have to search each pay period and scan through each file by department to find a particular check number. If the check is voided, it shows nowhere in Vista either.
This would be EXTREMELY helpful for auditing purposes, as well as being able to access check numbers when handling positive pay with the bank. Currently, we have to run a check register by pay week end, by department. We have to run six reports in order to send one file to the bank. We should be able to run a global Payroll Check Register, and use department, week end dates and employees as a filter, not as the only parameter.

The CM Transactions Report will list all checks for each bank account, and has a column on the right that puts a Y on a line, if the check is void.
