add a 401(k) eligibility date

I would like to see an eligibility date added to deduction and liabilities items on a per employee basis.  We have a 401(k) Safe Harbor Plan that goes into effect for employees once they have been here 3 months.  Right now we have to set up reminders to add this to their PR info once they are eligible.  It would be nice if we can just put in a date once they are on boarded and not have to think about it again.

    Kristen,

    An option for this exists in Vista, Right-click the Frequency field and go to Scheduled Changes. You can select the date that you want the field to change to the value for your active frequency code. Or set the scheduled change to set the rate on the date you specify. You can also use this to deactivate a code in the future and many other places in Vista. Scheduled Changes typically run at 2 AM unless changed in Configure Remote Service on the server.
