I believe adding radio buttons to specify the type of corporation or LLC as it is designated on the W9 would expedite preparing to print 1099s and also help with new vendor entry on this tab. One would know whether to un-check the "Subject to 1099 reporting" box and the additional step of clicking the appropriate radio button for "S", "C" or "P" corp would explain, at a glance, why the 1099 reporting box is checked or not.
